Happy New Year everyone! There are so many exciting things going on in Greater Ontario this year. 2017 is going to be the year of repeating what works, dissolving what doesn’t and best of all creating something “new”!  One of the largest shows we host annually at Ontario Convention Center is The Road to California.  This premier quilt and fiber art show brings more than 39,000 visitors from all 50 states and several foreign countries.  When filming our video for our newsletter this month I had the opportunity to learn more about fiber art.  I always knew quilting was very time consuming and very detailed and it’s amazing to talk with some of the artists that spend years on one project. As with anything else there are machines to speed up the process, giving some artists the time to explore and get even more creative with fabric.  I’m looking forward to seeing the works of art displayed throughout the center soon.  In fact this show is so big we construct a 90,000 square foot tent in the parking lot for additional space.  I hope to see you here at Ontario Convention Center during the show which is from January 19 thru January 20.
